I'm Justin Williams, the author of Promenauts, The Avarune Necklace as well as the CEO, president and supreme imperial pooh-bah of Justin Williams Books LLC.

I've always been an avid fan of fantasy and science fiction. So much so that I wanted to be a writer someday too. I got the idea for the Promenauts series when I was 17 years old (it came to me from playing Minecraft of all things) and decided to it would be my very first novel. I spent the next three years writing The Avarune Necklace while I was in school. I always brought a notebook with me to class to fool my teachers into thinking I was taking notes when really I was writing.

While I was writing, I drew up a rough sketch of what I wanted the cover of my book to look like. I showed my drawing to my friend Ovi, who then designed the original cover for The Avarune Necklace. Later, I chose to change the cover to a new design by Proxy. However, I still liked Ovi's cover, and thought it'd be a shame for it to go unused. So, I made it the cover for the E-book edition of The Avarune Necklace.

For a while, I took some time off from school so I could finish writing The Avarune Necklace. During those months, I learned I couldn't focus at home, so I started going to the North Sarasota public library where I would write until closing time. I soon built up a reputation among the librarians. They loved the fact that there was an author visiting them every day to write a book. When The Avarune Necklace was finally done, I brought in a copy to show them. They were so excited to see my book completed, and were kind enough to host my very first book signing in their library.

When I'm not writing, I am a full-time software engineering student at Florida Gulf Coast University. I also work as a part-time tutor for Elementary and Middle School students whenever I come home for break. In my spare time (of which I have little enough of), I like gaming, bi-weekly movie nights with the family and listening to any of my favorite books on Audible.

Right now, I spend my time living between my dorm room on the FGCU campus and my home in Sarasota where I live with my mom, brother, and of course, my pet chinchilla Twinchi.
